Gazebo is an antique reproduction of a wicker design from the Victorian manufacturer Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Company. It features scrolled aprons on seating and tables, a trellis weave on the sides and lower backs, tightly woven wicker upper backs, rolled arms, and solid rattan legs. Each Gazebo seating piece also includes 6-inch cushions that are available in a beautiful assortment of standard and premium fabrics. All are high-quality, upholstery fabrics and treated with stain protection. The Gazebo group is shown above in our Pleasant Valley Colonial floral fabric.

The Gazebo dinette is sold together as 5-piece group that includes the Gazebo dining table with 3/8" beveled glass and four Gazebo side chairs with cushions. The group can be ordered with a 48" glass top (as shown at left) or with a smaller 42" glass top. The side chairs are available with or without arms. The dinette group is available in both wicker finishes, white or brownwash. We also offer a Gazebo baker's rack that complements the collection.

Yesteryear Wicker has brought the 19th Century wicker designs back to life in their collection of wicker furniture. The styles represent the simpler designs of the Victorian Era. Yesteryear has traveled throughout Malaysia to find the best factories for the production of its fine collection.
The production of wicker has its roots in basketweaving and furniture made in ancient Egypt and Greece. Wicker furniture was popular in American and English homes throughout the 17th and 18th centuries. Willow branches have been replaced by rattan for wickerwork in the 20th Century.
